If, like me, you love traditional rich fruit Christmas cake and marzipan but not the sweet sugar paste icing, our marzipan-topped Christmas cake is just what you need. Finished with a layer of the finest natural almond paste, gently toasted to a lovely golden brown - at last, icing-free heaven!
